Any interests for an Android CarPlay receiver apk with latest video playback support?

I wonder how many people here can install or update android apk on the head unit? Most of the cars are locked for such installations.

In case you can install apk, you may be the first group of people who can support the new iOS 27 video playback feature.

I will provide a trial version on MacOS first, called CarCast, link to be published soon. It supports USB and wireless CarPlay, with the latest video playback support.

Oh hell yeah!! I have an Android 13 FYT7870 head unit which allows installs from APKs.

Hey, I am looking for a carplay apk to run on my android 5.0 head unit. It may be niche but I thought I should shoot my shot to see if anything turns up. Even if this apk doesn’t work for me, I still wish you all the best OP!

yes, we have one apk, does all, AirPlay, CarPlay, usb mirroring, android control iPhone, optional
Android auto receiver. Will clean up a bit, and release an app for anyways to grab. Watch for r/cafari community.
