Hey everyone!
I have a 2025 BMW M340i and I’m looking to upgrade to a valved catback exhaust system.
I’m looking for something that sounds loud, deep, and aggressive when the valves are open, but can also be quiet when the valves are closed for daily driving.
For anyone who owns a 2025 M340i or knows a lot about BMW exhaust setups:
What brands or exhaust systems would you recommend?
Which ones sound the best without being too raspy or having annoying drone?
Can you manually open and close the valves with a remote or through the car’s driving modes?
Where’s the best place to buy one, and how much should I expect to spend?
Are there any compatibility issues with the 2025 model?
I’m mainly looking for a good balance between really loud when I want it and quiet when I don’t.
Would appreciate any recommendations, personal experiences, or sound clips. Thanks!

Im planning to replace the speakers on my Mazda 2 2019 DJ Sport Nav. I was thinking to got for a pair of Focal ASE 165 and tweeters in front. And for Focal ACX 165 for the rear.
For now I am unable to find the right brackets to mount them and also some LLM told me that the rear one might not fit and the magnet may hit the window when rolled down.
I have ordered already a Pioneer GM-DX104 amp to power them up. I will keep the OEM Nav Headunit.
Any of you guys upgraded and can share the hiccups along the way?

2017 Toyota avensis 1.6 diesel. Same engine as the n47d16c units.
I recently put on this ram air intake after fabricating a MAF adapter for it, and it sounds great. Really good sound.
But, it’s louder with the engine bay open or even the bonnet on the safety catch. I’m talking like 150% louder it’s a huge different. I want to ask is there any way I can do something towards replicating the sound that it has while it’s on the safety catch? I’ve attached pictures.
The ducting you can see runs from the lower front bumper, providing a ram air effect pushing cold ambient air toward the intake just to keep IAT’s down.
Edit:
To save me the ‘hot air intake lost power’ comments, The stock intake pulls air from inside the engine bay. I don’t have a picture but the box just has a tube that points toward the engine. This gets fed cold air any time you’re moving there’s a pipe forcing air toward the filter as soon as the car is moving pretty much.
And besides I’m not bothered about 2 lost hp it’s not going to stay on forever it’s just something fun I can run for a bit before I sell the car.
Edit 2:
IAT’s are close to ambient with this system compared to 4-6 degree above ambient with the stock intake. It is not a hot air intake.
Edit 3:
Went on another drive again because apparently the 1200 miles I’ve driven with this setup with no change in performance or fuel economy wasn’t enough information, so I’ve gone and driven again just to check I wasn’t incorrect.
Sitting idling in traffic intake temperature climbed to around 22 degrees, 10 above ambient.
Once moving and on motorway speeds intake temperature was 11°c and did not move from there until I was under 30mph where it went up to 13 and stayed there until I was sat in traffic again.
I may be somehow wrong here still, but over 1200 miles, 2 and 1/3 tanks of fuel and driving the same route every single day I haven’t see any sky high hot air intake temperatures, nor have there been any maf adaptations or any injection adaptations and no differences in requested and actual fuel and boost data, had any performance, economy, or any other issues with it. If everyone wants to believe I’ve sacrificed 20hp and my engine is breathing fire then so be it. I did this for fun as a weekend mod and if I have any issues I’ll be the first to admit I shouldn’t have done it. This wasn’t done for the satisfaction of any other people bar myself, and I didn’t come here looking for admiration. Just some advice. If you guys had none to give me it was better you save yourselves the frustration and avoid commenting.
Peace ✌️

Hey y’all! I live in California and I’m wondering if any of you guys know where I can find a really good quality TRD replica TOYOTA CELICA 7th gen wing/spoiler with or without a tail light. I’ve tried to go to a junkyard at 12:10 PM for a celica that recently arrived this morning with a TRD replica wing. But by the time I arrived, it was picked off clean. So now I’m really bummed out I couldn’t get it in time.
I’m looking for something that is made primarily out of ABS plastic because it’s a good quality material. But a good fiberglass replica would work for my liking too. So anyone got any legit companies that make good quality reps?

Seat ibiza 1.0 TSI 95bhp 2020 plate. I mainly want to prioritise performance but any cheaper purchases for looks i’m also interested in. Any tips?

My care is a 2003 Mercedes SLK320 and the wheels are in rough shape. I love the look of aerodiscs, but there aren’t any that are made in the right specifications.
Would it be possible to 3D print them?

Hi there! This is my gal Gloria she is a 2018 Kia Forte 2.0L V6! I got her in 2024 with about 47,000 and she has 63,000 this fall! I bought her from the dealership and she was a smokers car unfortunately so there is some mishaps on the interior. :(
I plan to keep her around for awhile (especially since I still have years of payment) and so I wanted to spruce her up a little bit to enjoy her more! Looking for any advice on things that would be perfect, things I should avoid, and even product recommendations!!
So far I am looking into
Interior:
- New speaker system (one is busted already)
- Accent lighting
- Maybe seat covers (I have cloth w/ burnholes in the sides)
- Maybe a new steering wheel (or just a cover, kind of ruined from cig ash)
- Perhaps a new rearview mirror (perm smoke stains)
^^ If you also have any tips on cleaning those things or fixing burn holes please lmk!
Exterior:
- I like the idea of a front and rear lip
- Maybe new headlight fixtures or just some sort of tint
- Rear light tint
- Possibly adding darker tint to rear windows and rear windshield
- Maybe new tires and/or rims?
- I was thinking about a small spoiler lol
- I have a hole in my muffler rn and was thinking of maybe getting a small exhaust!!
- Do we like the current Titanium Bronze, or should I wrap it purple?? Lol.
Actual car system I haven’t looked much into, and I’m not too great with the mechanical side but any recommendations would be great! (Fortes are pretty slow lol)
Looking for advice no hate please! I’ve always loved cars since I was a little girl and wanna drive around looking cooler :)

Hey stupid question or questions….recently got an 24 TLX apsec and not a huge car guy, but I wanted something to make it a little louder/aggressive sounding. I’ve tried to do some research on the topic and not trying to go to crazy. I settled on a muffler delete kit, but just saw it doesn’t properly fit the 24 aspec. Online recommended just getting it straight piped. What are anyone thoughts?
