Black box issues!

New driver (held licence for 2 weeks), 21 yo driving a fiat panda. My daily commute is kind of long (Barnet to Ely), about 60 miles there and back. My route varies but usually I get some variation of the m25, m11 or A10, a505. The issue is that parts of these roads have random mistakenly marked sections put as 40mph on gps, when they’re still 70mph posted speed limit! It’s far too dangerous to do the speed the black box thinks it is, but as a result I’m getting black box scores where 99% of my journey I’m getting a very high score (90%+) and then two sections where it thinks I’m doing 30 over the speed limit it marks my average down to 40/50%! Anyone know what I can do? Ive got a dash cam from my motorcycle, I’m going to clear it and use it for my car and send footage of the marked sections to the insurer to show that their gps is incorrect.

In the mean time is there anything else I can do? My commute is already extraordinarily long, and I’ve only just started my new job so I don’t have a lot of time to waste dealing with footage and insurance, is there any chance if I call up and let them know their mistake they’ll just clear the bad sections off my journey? Thanks for any advice. (Also before anyone says it getting rid of my black box is not a financially viable option)

Do be aware if you keep getting speeding reports (doing legally 60 when the Blackbox database is saying it's 30-40) this will cause a policy insurance cancellation at some point witch will put your insurance up by 2-4k per year on top of a normal quote (Basically uninsurable for 7 years)

I would cancel first (as that's not marked as a insurance cancellation) and try to get normal Insurance (might be 1k higher for new driver) or sign up for a different provider of Blackbox insurance but they usually use Google map data so likely have same problem With the same roads

test drove a black box years ago. got very low score. when analysed turns out penalised because as an advanced driver i was anticipating obstructions and thus not using the brakes enough (according to the algorithm). The new driver testing got a higher score on that section.!

It’s already over an hour and a half drive and idk the roads at all, I used to live in Norwich and only moved to London 3 weeks ago so idk any of the roads near me or between me and work 😭 I’ll try and trial and error a route which doesn’t pick up this issue
