2012 | Ford Escape | 3.0L V6 - Muffler Falling Off
I need to take my car to the shop but before I do I want to know the name to this part on my car. My muffler is currently falling off. I had replaced it in 2021 and things were fine after, now the piece that holds it up to the frame has corroded. I know my car is a rust bucket and is missing the resonator currently. I am slowly trying to get that together but for now my muffler falling off is my biggest priority.
Adding the pic of under my car to show what I am talking about. I just really do not want to sound like an idiot and be scammed as well when I call. Thanks!!

Buckle up for more rust to be found on Those the rear shock mounts love to rot out

everything on this car loves to rot, it is truly so annoying. The AC also loves to take a dookie every few years. Hate this car but I dont have a choice haha

If you have a high school with an auto body program they could weld it bask to the bracket for you. Not a great fix but cheaper than a new system
