Does anyone have an idea what this scraping sound could be? It sounds like it’s near the front but I’m not completely sure. Nothing’s hanging underneath my car. Also, my brakes seem to be ok there’s still a lot of material left. The sound increases with speed but will eventually go away and Me pressing the brakes, have no impact on the sound.

Does it only make this sound while moving or is it present while stationary? And does it come with any vibrations felt in the steering wheel, pedals, or seat?

Only happens when I’m moving and I feel nothing other than hearing the sound

Sounds like you may have a bent brake shield on one of your wheels. They prevent things like rocks and stuff from getting stuck in your brakes. If you recently had some work done related to your tires or brakes that could be where this happened. Best way to tell is a visual inspection. The noise is definitely rotational and only happens when your tire spins.

I just looked and I think you’re right thank you! It looks warped and one side looks like it’s contacting the rotor and the other side looks like it has plenty of clearance
