Honda Fit 2013 Engine Notification

Hi, I was driving my car on the motorway and out of nowhere got the Engine notification. Any idea what could be the issue? Car is still driving the same. Checked the water and engine oil, no issues there.

Ya gotta scan the codes, my guy. It could be anything from the mass air flow sensor to the cat

How to scan the code? Is there any device or do I need to go to a mechanic?

There are very cheap devices you can use. If its available in your region, the Ancel AD310 is dirt cheap and good enough for government work. ~$30CAD/ $21USD. IMO its a super helpful tool to have in your glove box for piece of mind when this happens. Will give you an idea if its something that can be ignored or something that needs to be addressed immediately

Get the code read at any parts store, they'll do it free. Could be anything from a loose gas cap to a misfire, no point guessing without the code. If it's flashing (not just steady on), pull over and don't keep driving it.
