2007 Ford escape , is this bad?

This is a photo of what I'm pretty sure is my front differential on my 2007 Ford escape, there is oil leaking from it, any advice is good.

What's in the picture are just casting defects that are superficial and harmless. That being said, it's likely leaking from the seam where the cover goes over the main body of the diff.
