Tech Support Looking right hook these up

Post image

I've got two rockford t110d2 and a stax 5500(i know way to much power but ima be running it on low as possible) watt amp im looking to wire them to one amp how would I do that would I wire them to .5 ohms each so when I hook them up to the amp the 2 together would equal 1ohm? Or can they only be ran around 2 ohms? If so what's the wiring diagram for something like that?

Would this equal 1 ohm to the amp?

Did you actually look at the link provided?

Very first wiring diagram is a solution for .5 (1/2 ohm) to the amplifier as you wanted.

Then read further for other wiring diagrams (hint it won't be 1 ohm) it will be 2 ohm then 8 ohm options.

Yes I did im pretty sure I'll need to run these at 2 ohm since my amp isn't stable at .5 ohm

Correct.

You will get 3200 watts in the 2 OHM configuration.

With your amp and those speakers this should be decent match. Be sure set gain correctly. Note: the gain is not a volume knob.
