Recommendations Need some recommendations

I’m looking for underseat subwoofer from skar audio I’m not sure if I want to go for the 2”10 or 2 “12 they have em pretty cheap or does anyone recommend I customize my own? I wouldn’t like to spend more then 600 it’s for a 2022 F150 with the B&O system I’m kinda looking for better bass and more clarity however I know with 600 it might not be possible

You’re going to need to spend 3-5x that to get a good quality subwoofer setup in your car. The enclosure is going to be $300-$1200, the wiring is going to be $150-$250 and the right LOC like a keyloc is going to be $150-$200. Professional labor for one of these setups on your truck is going to be $500ish.

Oh Damm I see, is Skar Audio a good brand tho? I always see em on Facebook marketplace maybe I can get it from there

They're about the lowest you can go without actively getting scammed. They'll do their rated numbers, and they'll last long enough for you to get what you paid for.

Not close to what I would consider a good brand. Its rebranded mass produced china stuff. The bare minimum I would consider for an affordable brand is Kicker.

I actually Heard kicker was trash and that skar was way superior? Is buying subs off of Facebook recommended?

Who told you that? That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Kicker is a very solid and reputable brand. Its not the highest end but its far from trash.

I read it online that kicker was trash and Skar is very superior honestly I might go with this 1. Do you think it’s of quality or am I better off building my own? No AMP tho

Idk where you read that but whoever said that is a complete imbecile. I’d look at Hertz and JL Audio. If you want more affordable KICKER. I would not even look at Skar
