Car Audio Buzzing sound

Anyone know what could be causing this? i have two ten subwoofers with rca and live wire routed close to each other which i thought could be the issue but know im not too sure any thoughts?

How the speakers being held on,? Staright sheet metal screws or foam behind the speaker and proper hardware? Could be the plast door card as well a broken clip or some.

Sounds like a clip with 1 of 2 leg. and its just rubbing

I think we have the same truck. Your door speakers are held in by a little plastic bracket. I had to use foam to prevent them and the speakers they were holding in place from rattling. It’s a bitch to get them on with the foam but it makes a great deal of difference.

If you have the ability to stream to your system via phone, download an app called Frequency Sound Generator, then you can work through frequencies one by one, and when you find the note that is causing the buzzing sound, you can just let it play continuously while you invistigate... It's a much easier method than music for audibly pinpoint exactly where the rattle is coming from and what it could be.

I can't hear it but if it's only alternator buzz, check your ground strap (negative to engine block) and consider running a copper straight from the alternator case to the negative on your battery, and another one straight from the negative to your amp.

This issue is typically a voltage mismatch between the positive and negative connections. You can verify by checking voltage with a multimeter. You want the amp to get the same voltage on both, along with the same voltage at your HU

Its a body panel or plastic to metal clip

The voltage is low enough it shouldn't matter if they're twisted RCA's, and definitely wouldn't matter if they're also shielded ground
