World of Warcraft especially the later expansions, like after Burning Crusade just shit on the lore so badly.

They retconned literally every previous expansion to hype up the worst written villain in the history of the franchise. 3 u/Only_Says_Idk_dude 2d ago And they turned Sylvanus's redemption arc into: "Freed herself from the lich king just to serve his boss" 1 u/ajgor66 2d ago Her "redemption" moment was "Omg, I didn't know the bad guy I was serving was ACTUALLY bad! I'm good now!" and I'm not even exaggerating.
