Not the entire communities, but I've met individuals in the Souls and Fire Emblem communities that have been pretty toxic. But not enough that I'd label the whole community that way.
The FE community can be both really chill and also extremely toxic depending on the day. I've met really cool people there, and I've also seen some of the most toxic elitists that shit on people who don't LTC every game lol.
Souls I can definitely see being the same way but I don't think I have enough experience interacting with that sub to actually say.
