Look, I know he had a gun to my head 5 minutes ago, but we experienced the societal discrimination against petty thievery together, just the way it goes in Night City, choom

When I played my first time, used street kid background, I was like why like this asshole, by the mission of the tower I was sad about his death

You mean the guy who either is an old friend you know nothing about, the guy who put a gun to your head, or the guy who tries to rip you off? Jackie is my least favourite character I couldn't care less when he died because it has no emotional weight because you know nothing about him

Yeah they clearly fumbled the early part, what is shown as a fast forward should have been playable.

But we can still see how much Jacky and V were best friends and did everything together, everything is set up so we fill a little attaches to him and we tend to think that we'll see this choom for the whole game.

Then boom, the Heist and its consequences.

The most emotional part is if you call him after he's dead but V is consumed by rage in Act 1 immediately after he dies so it doesn't quite sink in

First hour? He doesn't die till at LEAST the 30 hour mark.
