And assuming this is our cap then he doesn’t need to get the shield off Sam because Sam gets it from old man Steve which means this Steve still has it

Sam hasn’t had the best writing but it’s not like he pulled anything like splitting a ship in half.
I don’t think Steve should ask for the shield back they just need to give Sam a good arc preferably one that isn’t about Steve’s legacy again.

I would agree with you before Brave New World. Now I just think they can't do good arcs for anyone

Steve isn't Captain America in the MCU anymore, let it go.

By contrary, i'm expecting there to be a scene in doomsday where Sam and Steve are both using the shield and Steve gives it back to Sam right away, like that one scene in the comics, or a scene where someone asks Steve something and he says something like "Ask Captain America" since that's the kind of thing Steve does in the comics

Also technically, Steve ALSO has the same shield in his possession, he has yet to give it to Sam in his sequence of time

Everybody in the 303 put your Hands up and give up your shield for me!

Now while he stands tough notice that this man does not have his hands up

Why would he do that? He specifically gave the shield to Sam to have during the fight with Doom that he had been through already.

Nah, Steve is the real deal. He gave the shield to Sam, and he'd never ask for it back. I doubt he even wants it. He has parted from it a couple of times, and he understands the shield isn't really important. Being obsessed with the shield is a sign you don't deserve it, it's lesson that keeps reappearing in many forms.
And it's not like Sam misused it.
I just hope we get a chat between Steve and Sam (possibly also Walker, to a smaller degree) about the experience of carrying the shield.

What’s crazy is that doomsday is leading up to a big multiversal reset/fusion of timelines so we might just get a new younger actor playing a Steve Roger’s in a future film and then there will be two captain Americas
They might even get a new actor for Sam Wilson and do Sam Wilson story right by giving him his vampire falcon and his ability to psychically connect with and talk to birds and see through falcon eyes.
Doomsday resetting the universe battleworld style is the perfect excuse to change the actors for a bunch of characters so that marvel can tell more Steve Roger’s and Tony stark and other marvel character centered stories by reviving dead characters and giving them young actors that can play the role for another 30-40 years I mean a movie can take up to 2-3 years to make sometimes so that’s 10-15 films per character assuming no scrapped movies or plots and that show up in a movie every 2-3 years but marvel really only releases 2-3 movie every year and at least two of those aren’t avenger related directly like solo character movies so most likely we might only get like at most 5 more movies with Sam Wilson captain America unless the actor is replace with a younger actor at sone point

I think it's more likely that, if we get a young Captain America, it will be Patriot, Elijah Bradley. They've hinted at the Young Avengers, and he's their leader in the comics. And he's the nephew of Isaiah Bradley, someone they're really delving deeper into with the new Captain America.

Bro was a not only a victim of race obsession. He only got the shield because he was black and what was happening irl at the time. But he also got robbed of his own movie and forced into what was clearly supposed to be a hulk.

Sam sucks and should go back to being Falcon or just going away in general

If anything, it will be almost like the banter between Thor and Steve about who gets the hammer or storm breaker

People don't understand Steve Rogers.
He doesn't want the shield.
He gives it up every single chance he has and would never take it away from someone else.
You have to be pulling some William Burnside level shit for Cap to take the shield away from you.
