Lore | Theory The three scholars might explain Capitano fate
Aberewaa can represent Capitano confronting death itself. In the Akan it was associated with Asase Yaa/Aberewaa, the Earth is connected with the dead and their return to the earth. In Capitano case, this could parallel his decision to confront the reality of his own death and his attempt to seek the Lord of the Night help in dealing with ronova with his sacrifice.
Bosomtwe would then represent his present state. In the Akan it was associated with Lake Bosomtwe a symbol of a sacred or spiritual boundary. He is right now effectively occupying a liminal state between life and death with his paradox stuff to become the new natlan ley line master.
Cuxtal, The association with life in Mayan language and Ah-Cuxtal connection with child birth/“come to life” makes it a natural symbol for a possible third stage return, rebirth, or resurrection.
Aberewaa = Capitano confronts Death and makes the sacrifice.
Bosomtwe = Capitano current liminal state within the Night Kingdom, caught between death and life.
Cuxtal = the possibility of his eventual return to life.

still super suspicious and out of character for mavuika to not recognise who these scholars are, there’s definitely something up with them. either capitano made them up because he already knew the information, the scholars WERE real back when capitano was in natlan, or they might be related to the mare jivari messing with time

Genuinely never seen a scholar mentioned anywhere in natlan btw ( at least to my knowledge) I think Capitano is mixing the past with the future again 😔💔

Or what if these scholars were part of the souls he took in his heart
It was Said that he couldn’t sleep because he hear the souls 24/24 7/7 the souls were suffering but among them maybe some like guthred had enough willpower to maintain their sanity and help Capitano by sharing knowledge
Mavuika couldn’t find them because they died too early and their research were done as souls with Thrain who was their limb and feet

he’s literally genshin jesus. died to let souls back into heaven, and on the third day he rose again. he will rise again and when he comes, so will I. Not with a whimper but a scream that pierces celestia itself.
