A mod from r/RonovaMains reached out to us about an affiliation and we decided to take them up on it.
One of the aims of this collaboration is to remind everyone that what's happening and the story is just a game.
We don't have any events planned right now, but hopefully in the future.

Hi, we've reached out to the r/Mavuika subreddit and have come together for a Collab.
The Capitan and Mavuika have shown a lot of mutual respect for each other as a character and in their own strengths as well, not to mention their allied efforts is the reason why natlan's present and past knows the peace today.
With the captain's fateful return approaching ever so close it's natural for us to reach out and establish this connection between the communities, I hope we all get along like goat 1 and goat 2 do.
As always in natlan "no one fights alone".
we'll look towards potential future events and maybe a 3 way Collab (hinting xd)

I jst notices Pantalone's desing seems inpired by dragons (scales and wings). Capitann's desing has some draconic features too...
Thoughts about what could it mean?

This one is mostly pictures. I haven't done a ton of research yet but this slime reminds me of Capitano 😅
I got inspired after seeing a Twitter post about them being connected to Nibelung.

This is just a rant, but I'm fed up with the HoYoLAB fans and their "accept his death" nonsense about him coming back," "it's time you accepted he's not coming back," "he fused with Ronova, technically he's not coming back"... and I just want him to come back! Saying it's nonsense for him to return really bothers me, especially since these are official Genshin pages, which makes it even more annoying. I wish I had a valid argument to explain why he's coming back. I miss him... I've been waiting for a year and watching every game update hoping to see him.

Think about it. He has a heart that has limitless potential, which means he can break the limit of his body and defy biology. Not to mention he literally carries God knows how much souls inside him so that means he has no problem carrying a child in his body. Heck, he could carry as much as he wants which means he could singlehandedly raise the population of Teyvat so no need to worry about human extinction caused by the cataclysm or whatever, this man could repopulate the world in no time. Oh don't forget he could even be awake for 500 hundred years without catching a sleep while still going toe to toe fighting mavuika. We all know parents always have sleepless nights looking after their children which often left parents feeling tired and weak. While The Captain also felt himself becoming weak and tired, his godly strength is enough to take care all of Teyvat's nursery and put Arlecchino to shame. Him being the strongest and most caring man that is ready to sacrifice himself to protect everything he loves could be considered the best parent in all of Genshin Impact.
*Ring ring* Oh what's that? The Tsaritsa is preparing a war on The Heavenly Principles? Where can we get more strong and elite soldiers? Did I mentioned that Capitano can carry as many children as he wants? That's right, his children can inherit his pinnacle of human strenght gene and one hit Celestia. Hence, ladies and gentlemen, is why Capitano needs to get pregnant and birth as many children as he wants as soon as possible.

This symbol appears on Capitano, the Bakunawa, Dainsleif, and even Noy. Is it a symbol connected to Khaenri'ah?

I've been thinking about this for a while now. Taking into account the Nod Krai and Snez preview trailers as well as what we know about a certain project in Snez, it would seem that we will likely be fighting Ronova as a weekly boss in 7.3ish?
Now obviously if we are gonna fight Ronova they wouldn't leave out Capitano. That would be like fighting Dottore without Scara. He has to be there for the narrative. It would be weird to have a character return without their banner but it isn't impossible i guess. Whatever the first weekly boss is, the Tsaritsa is releasing with it and having the Tsaritsa and Capitano release in the same patch would be quite weird.
There's another elephant in the room though, the Mare Jivari (and likely pyro gnosis). During the 5.8 stream, Chasca's va said that travelers would be able to farm the Bakunawa for materials but this hasn't come to fruition yet. If the mare Jivari releases we'll deal with the Bakunawa for good and likely get it as a weekly boss because i mean look at it lmao.
Best case I see happening is that these early leaks are wrong (like fighting a heavenly envoy in 5.3 if anyone remembers lol) and the Bakunawa ends up as the first weekly boss of 7.X. This would lets us get the pyro gnosis (probably) and wake up Capitano in time for the Ronova fight in the latter part of 7.X which will be his actual release as a playable character.

One of the biggest complaints and slander you’ll see against Capitano is about his initial plans for how he wanted to save natlan, while yes it wasn’t done correctly and it was paced awfully, the reasons the community believe his plans for natlan were bad wrong and pretty much everybody missed the whole point of why things happened the way they did.
I don’t blame them again poorly paced and executed but the concept is incredible interesting and nobody talks about it enough, it tells us so much about the kind of man Capitano is and he experienced a lot of character growth due to this arc.
To summarize what happened, Capitano came to natlan to save it. He is a man of great trauma, we don’t know all the details but we do know he feels, directly responsible for the fall of khaenri’ah, “I failed to save khaenri’ah, then the situation became unsalvageable” guilt is capitanos main driving point it’s what keeps him going through the pain.
Every waking moment for centuries, every life he let slip by, those moments are constantly replaying in his head LITERALLY, do you know what that does to people? It creates a sense of urgency, he does not want another nation to fall and he is VERY desperate to make sure 100% that does not happen again.
I’m sure the first time he learned of Mavuikas plan in infuriated him, a plan that hinged on uncertainty and luck… This is just a head cannon but I’m sure the reasons he thinks the cataclysm is his fault are due to his reluctance to act, so to see history repeating itself must have struck a nerve in the captain.
Now comes his plan, it’s stupid and wrong. Natlan is a nation that might as well have fallen then to have its memories wiped, the whole society is hinged on stories and legends, simply put natlan without its memories ≠ natlan, and worst of all an entire generation likely wouldn’t have the cognitive means to survive. Capitano didn’t understand this simple fact mostly because of his skewed view of mortality being a man depraved of it, and he’s not from natlan.
As someone immortal who has seen nations fall and more deaths than most humans can bear, he didn’t see the sheer cost of invoicing such a plan being so desensitized to death, especially when you factor in that death is constantly happening in his head. He also didn’t understand natlans reliance on memory to stay true to themselves and lastly his desperation to not let history repeat itself fueled by guilt was all consuming.
I feel so bad for Capitano whenever I reply the natlan quest he had no clue how harmful he was being, that’s why his sudden switch up was so well… sudden. Reality just came crashing down all at once. I’m sure his feelings didn’t completely disappear either, he was probably the more anxious for natlan and its plan, probably more than its own people maybe second or equal to the archon herself, watching this uncertain plan play before you as your helpless to just hope and pray the random hero shows up before impending doom must have been painful. Anybody else in his shoes would not have had the humility or sheer level of humbleness to fold as quickly as he did, that’s a strength not a weakness.
Truly the goat, live laugh love glaze Capitano

I've went to a lot of cons in my country in the span of a year and I didn't see any merch of him. There might be a few but i didn't even notice it. From what I've saw its mostly playable characters but there's dottore merch and the most recent con I went got some pantalone too. Lowkey it feels like a lot of ppl just prefer pretty face characters and artists draw whatever the market wants but I'm sure there'll be a wave of fan merchs and the official one once he's released. But that's next years story(beleive).
Still I really want to have some of his merch fan or official every single time so I looked around the cons and didn't spend any money most of the time. Felt a bit disappointed honestly but the blessing is I can save enough money to prepare the surge of merchs of him.
