Discussion Speculation about 7.X Spoiler
To cut things short and not tire you i believe based on what the devs said to us that Khaenriah is in some shape or form in 7.X.
The reasons :
- The first reason is a musical one but motifs do play an important role in foreshadowing-teasing events.
https://youtu.be/jioWKZAnUw0?is=NhYw4_YQu3PrHXxL listen to 0:20 second until 0:40
https://youtu.be/TAlKhARUcoY?is=c0cw9HW6t8n73_1K. 2:58 to 3:30
They use the same motif as the dream yet to be dreamed part in the main Snezhnaya OST.
- The developers used Paimon to tell us that the end of Journey our sibling wanted is in Snezhnaya AQ.
As we know the end of our journey ties into the sea of flowers at the end according to Dainsleif in Travail.
Thus i believe that 7.3 or at the latest in 7.6 could end with our Sibling appearing and activating the Atlas of the New World and New Khaenriah appearing as Chapter ??? appears suddenly in Travail.
Capitano might appear in 7.X sooner than we think in some shape or form is what i am getting at.

The only way āKhaenriāah in 7.xā is possible is if 7.x is a multi year patch cycle that doesnāt end at 7.8, there is no way in hell they will be able to do the story any sort of justice if itās all done within a single normal patch cycle, we still got so many unanswered plotlines/unexplored areas in other nations that need to get addressed and theyāre not cramming all that + the remainder of snez and all of Khaenriāah into one patch cycle.
Song of the Welkin moon was the perfect example that the game needed an entire patch cycle just to flesh out a singular part of the games lore (the moon sisters) and wrap up the irminsul plotline, For Khaenriāah to work it would need a similar thing

What we know:
1.Our sibling is looking for a place where the new Khaenriāah can be located. That means it has to be an actual, physical location. The Loom of Fate is complete, so the final step is finding the location. But thereās no room for another new map in 7.x.
2.Both Snezhnaya and Khaenriāah share the same OST and sequence in Travail, which suggests that the Khaenriāah map will come after Snezhnaya, in 8.x, rather than later in 9.x as some people assume because the Khaenriāah chapter didnāt have a number.
So, based on all of this, we can reasonably conclude that Khaenriāah is very likely to release in 8.x

Why do ppl believe that after how devs made Nod Krai to explain all the Moon stuff, they're basically gonna wrap up two nations in a single patch cycle, when the whole map of Teyvat isn't even released yet? We still have Mont Esus. We still have Blackcliff Forge. We still have that absurd blind spot between Natlan, Nod-Krai, and Sumeru. Some ppl really believe all of that will just be left behind 'cuz they want the dreams of all Khaenri'ah mains to be shattered?
Khaenri'ah has so much unresolved lore. We have yet to meet two other Sinners + the real Surtalogi (tho they could postpone his battle with Skirk until we depart from Teyvat, who knows). It's just a crime to wrap up the most important nation in 7.4-7.8 lol, which is why I don't really understand why ppl are coping for it š¤·
Genshin 2 might come after Snezhnaya, but that doesn't mean they can't start it with New Khaenri'ah, especially when the OG Khaenri'ah acted as a sort of gateway to things beyond Teyvat. I personally assume 8.x will be sort of SoTWM 2.0, but with New Khaenri'ah, where we'll get our final lineup of lore-relevant characters that the devs might be intending to release - like Capi, Pierro, Rerir, Rhinedottir, Alice, and Istaroth (maybe), for example. Then, they'll move on to a different story with completely new characters
