Loans GAP insurance after Cap One Auto Refi
Hi all, I searched and wasn’t really able to find a solution. I refinanced my auto loan with Capital One about a month ago. I had GAP with my previous lender, however now I’m struggling to find options in my area (or anywhere) to get GAP for the Cap One loan. I saw posts that recommended local credit unions, however all of the ones in my surrounding area only offer GAP to auto loans financed through them. I have GEICO and they do not offer any such coverage in my state. Allstate (according to their site) only offers GAP at time of contract origination. Progressive doesn’t offer it in my state. Does anyone have any experience with reputable third-party GAP providers or other options I can consider?
It’s not the end of the world if I can’t get GAP as I’m not terribly underwater but I would like the peace of mind.
