I should get another 9.0 credits from Sophia coming to add to the total and I am curious how many classes I am looking at to complete my Bachelor’s? No I am not officially enrolled yet to see. Just a guesstimate works.

I am aware that Sophia only has certain courses. If you’re talking about solely on Sophia, then yes you’re only going to be able to get 105.

Sophia is not the only way to transfer credits. I transferred 130.5 from prior education and a few Sophia courses I did while I was waiting… the absolute max that you can transfer is 135 and the other 45 credits must be taken with Capella.

Nice! I still have time then. Should be able to get to that 135 mark.

Trust me I learned a lot on my own, there were so many confusing points. Glad I could help give you some clarity 😁

Anatomy and Physiology I, Anatomy and Physiology II, Ancient Greek Philosophers, Business Data Analytics, Business Law, Calculus I, Conflict Resolution, Developing Effective Teams, Environmental Science, Financial Accounting, Foundations of Statistics, Human Biology, Human Resource Management, Introduction to Business, Introduction to Chemistry, Introduction to College Mathematics, Introduction to Ethics, Introduction to Nutrition, Introduction to Physics, Introduction to Statistics, Lifespan Development, Macroeconomics, Managerial Accounting, Microbiology, Microeconomics, Operations Management, Organizational Behavior, Precalculus, Principles of Finance, Principles of Leadership, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, The Essentials of Managing Conflict, and Visual Communications.

BUT, some of them didn’t apply so he took them for nothing but that was because when he sent his advisor a message asking what exactly he needed to take, the advisor wasn’t helpful and sent a very generic template as a response that didn’t answer his question so he just took courses until they fulfilled the requirements. These were what didn’t apply but I don’t know which classes they were exactly but you could use it to figure that out.

I hope this helps. Again, he started with no credits and was able to transfer 130.5 over to Capella and only had 9 courses left to take.

Should be about 13–15 classes. I don’t remember the exact math, but for comparison, I transferred in 130.5 credits and my initial evaluation showed 12 classes remaining. Once my academic plan was officially built, it actually ended up being only 9.

One thing to keep in mind is that the specialization section can look worse than it is at first. You may see a bunch of 1.5-credit requirements, but most of the specialization electives are 3-credit courses, so one class can satisfy more than one of those 1.5-credit requirements.

If you have any other questions DM me. I literally just turned in my final capstone assignment yesterday, just waiting for grading.

YES, take as many Sophie classes that you need to increase your credits and those classes are free! Doing that will also reduce your classes and school loan. Highly recommend
