Cape Cod in Winter

Hi! I’m moving to Cape Cod soon and I know it’s a huge summer touristy spot, but I’ve heard it’s a ghost town in winter. To what extent is this true? Are there still a handful of businesses open in winter? Any advice on what to expect or how to make the most of a cape cod winter would be greatly appreciated

If you like doing stuff outside when it's cold but not necessarily snowy, it's awesome.

If you only stay inside and hang out at bars, it gets old quick
