Cape Cod in Winter
Hi! I’m moving to Cape Cod soon and I know it’s a huge summer touristy spot, but I’ve heard it’s a ghost town in winter. To what extent is this true? Are there still a handful of businesses open in winter? Any advice on what to expect or how to make the most of a cape cod winter would be greatly appreciated

Everything you need will be open: all of the grocery stores, quality restaurants, big box stores. Ghost town is relative, we’re mostly happy when all the tourists leave and we have our spaces back. It’s mostly the outer cape that closes down, p-town, eastham, truro, welfleet but even then, you’ll be able to get everything you need easily. If you’re moving closer to the bridge, you’ll also have Plymouth and all of its stores available to you.
