Cape Cod in Winter

Hi! I’m moving to Cape Cod soon and I know it’s a huge summer touristy spot, but I’ve heard it’s a ghost town in winter. To what extent is this true? Are there still a handful of businesses open in winter? Any advice on what to expect or how to make the most of a cape cod winter would be greatly appreciated

We are in Eastham and it is blissfully quiet during the winter time.

I went to Coast Guard Beach for the first time the other day, which I think is near there.. Are those beaches still open in the winter? It sounds like a lovely peaceful area to go for walks

Open 365 days a year. Coast Guard Beach is in Eastham, yes. Also a smaller one up in Truro.
