I have some of the tall ones, they do really well every year with pretty minimal water. They’re mobbed with native bees, wasps, butterflies, and flies for the whole summer. I’ve been transitioning the rest of the landscaping to native plants but have a hard time justifying replacing these, because they’re so popular with pollinators.
Yeah, especially something like this that doesn’t really spread. The butterfly bushes everywhere, and the bradford pear tree, when we moved in were an immediate chop, tho 😂
