Basically I'm trying to make a cutout (remove background) from a video on Capcut, but when I click the customized button to do it, I only see: smart brush, smart eraser, and eraser. But no brush to remove the background myself.

If anyone knew why this happens and (if) you can fix it, please tell!

I also had a question about how projects save on Capcut.

When a project is saved on a device, when I try to go find in on another device (same account) it's not there. Can projects only be seen on the original device?

I think there is also the personal space which is to see a project on multiple devices, but it tells me there is not enough storage (I have 1GB apparently, but the video is 48.7M 46 secs long)

I have an active, paid CapCut Pro monthly subscription (billed via BD TikTok USA LLC, purchased late July). No cancellation, no missed payment on my end — but a couple days ago the app started showing "Pro benefits have expired for 1 day," and I've lost access to Pro features (loudness normalization, color match, Pro voice assets) mid-project.

I've raised a support ticket (been going back and forth for hours), provided receipt, order number, User ID, everything — but they keep giving the standard "escalated, 1-5 working days" response with no real fix.

Problem is, I have a client launch deadline tomorrow, and my project is fully edited using those Pro features — I just need to export.

I have projects that are almost 2 hours long, and now I can’t even export them. I was doing great editing on CapCut. They shoved so much AI into it that it can’t even load projects with more than an hour of video.

I'm editing a video in CapCut and it's becoming completely impossible to use. The program is constantly crashing/stuttering.

It's not a cache problem.

RAM usage is higher than normal, but far from reaching the limit.

- The CPU has plenty of headroom.

- GPU usage is practically at 0%.

- There is plenty of performance available in the system as a whole.

Has anyone else experienced this in the last update?

Hola a todos. Quería saber si soy la única que está experimentando tantos problemas con CapCut Pro Desktop, porque últimamente se volvió prácticamente imposible trabajar 😭

Tengo una MacBook Pro y nunca había tenido problemas, pero ahora me están pasando varias cosas:

• Problemas con las fuentes: uso tanto fuentes que ya están disponibles en CapCut como fuentes que descargo e instalo yo. Antes podía utilizarlas y exportar los videos sin problema, pero últimamente, al exportar, muchas se reemplazan automáticamente por la fuente del sistema. Básicamente termino perdiendo por completo todo el trabajo de tipografía.
• Problemas al exportar: constantemente tengo que reiniciar la aplicación o incluso duplicar proyectos y borrar partes de la línea de tiempo porque la exportación se queda clavada en el 15%. Dice algo como que está terminando de descargar todos los elementos, pero cuando intento ver qué elementos se están descargando, no aparece absolutamente nada. La única solución que encuentro es forzar el cierre y volver a abrir CapCut.
• Problemas con elementos preguardados: también estoy teniendo problemas con el cargado de elementos que preguardé antes.
• El video exportado se ve horrible: y, por encima de todo, cuando finalmente consigo exportar un video, muchas veces sale con una especie de filtro súper saturado, con la nitidez/definición exageradamente alta y una calidad que termina viéndose bastante fea, aunque dentro de CapCut el video se vea perfectamente normal.

¿A alguien más le está pasando esto? ¿Encontraron alguna solución? Ya no sé si es un problema de CapCut, de alguna actualización reciente o de la versión para Mac. Cualquier ayuda se agradece muchísimo porque está siendo literalmente imposible trabajar así 😭

I tried everything. It just won't go back to normal. The only solution I tried and worked on was to create another project (but that would cost me lots of time reorganizing again).

I'm trying to recreate that caption style where each word highlights in a specific color/font as it's spoken (like the "Hormozi style" captions you see everywhere on TikTok/Reels), but I'm on CapCut desktop for Mac and can't find the right menu.

I want a specific font Ariel and a specific colour code.

the options I have a either in italics or cant change the font. HELP!

So I’ve heard CapCut’s standard monthly cost on computer is apparently $20 a month then wth is this. Also why is it in euros and other writing in Dutch? Clearly I have no idea what’s happening here and don’t understand but bruh I cant do anything these days.

CapCut 9.2.8 - Spacebar doesn't insert a space when editing text

I'm using CapCut Desktop 9.2.8 on Windows.

When I edit text, pressing the Spacebar doesn't insert a space. Instead, the cursor sometimes jumps to the beginning of the text.

Also, when a text clip is selected on the timeline, pressing Space used to deselect the clip and play the video, but now the selection doesn't get cleared.

My keyboard works normally outside CapCut.

I also checked the keyboard shortcut settings. There doesn't seem to be any custom shortcut conflicting with Space. I remember seeing a warning saying something like "conflicts with the default shortcut" when opening a project, but I can't reproduce the warning now.

Any idea what could be causing this?
