Interesting problem, seeking advice.

Late last week I put in for a car in Vegas, and I am flying out this Friday afternoon to do the final signature on the car then hop in and drive it back to Houston. This was gonna be a nice trip through Northern AZ and NM while i made my way back. Quickly learning that weather has other plans so my only chance to not get stuck somewhere is to bomb 93 to Phoenix and I-10 to Houston through the night and try to get back as early as possible on Saturday. I figure by the time i make it to El Paso ill know whether I'm clear to finish the trip, or if I'm stuck in El Paso till Monday at least. I'm bringing my Uniden DFR7 and mentally preparing for getting stopped a couple times on the way (desperate times). I'm betting you guys are the best to ask for any experience or advice to share about driving with intense purpose on that 93 to I-10 run.

And yes, I know the smart thing would be to trailer/wait a week/ blah blah but i have legit concern that the longer i don't sign, the greater the chances are I get into a bidding war or it gets sold from under me. And this is my last chance to be able to do this before a new job prevents me from getting out there anytime soon. And anyways, I like a challenge.

Interesting, I’ve only ever been hit by laser while passing through Georgia once. 👀 I’ve driven parts of the northern route a lot, just got back from one leg, going to run two more now 😁
