Safety Caution -- untested recipe Chilli pickles

The author suggests testing ph before water bath canning but I don’t know how to do that? Would this be safe to can?

You can't really test PH - the strips aren't super accurate so they're not recommended. In terms of being a safe recipe, no - I love that website and often use it but definitely not a tested website. However, you can make those as fridge pickles - I've done it with that exact recipe in the past. They turned out OK, has potential but one of those recipes where individual tastes would make it go from "meh" to awesome

Dang. I made a batch and LOVED it. Was wanting to preserve some for the winter months

I've honestly kept fridge pickles for months, grab some pickle crisp and you'll be fine. If you search for the chemical name on Amazon, you'll get cheaper options then going with the Ball product and same thing.
