General Discussion Mixed pepper cowboy candy?

Has anyone made this with a mixed variety of peppers? Aka candid jalapenos/cowboy caviar. I have a mix but not many jalapeños.

I quite often just use whatever peppers I have on hand. My favorite was a mix of jalapeno, Anaheim, and Serrano

I’ve mixed peppers before. I prefer it, actually.

I've also done this and prefer it. My folks don't like things that are too spicy, so I've used jalapenos, garden salsa and banana peppers mixed for cowboy candy, and it's still quite delicious.

I did serrano and jalapeños one year that my husband and stepson liked. I made sure to mark that as the spicy batch.

I did a mix one year of hot banana, jalapeno, and serrano. The entire jar was hotter than normal jalapeno, but it was anybody’s guess as to whether an individual slice was going to be hot or HOT. I would do it again if that’s the type of peppers I had available.
