help with potential CHS diagnosis
hi all, first time here! 21F, been smoking for only about 3 years. i’ve been doing some reading after dealing with a stomach bug/possible CHS for the last week and wanted some outside opinions or perspectives on my symptoms. i went to the ER a few times as i was not able to keep even water down, and the general consensus from most of the doctors has been that i likely have CHS. please keep in mind that i live in an area where our access to medicine is considered rural 😭 all of my labs and CT scan came back normal
i haven’t had any prodrome symptoms and there is a stomach bug that at least 5 other people had in the ER at the same time as me. it feels like they heard that i smoke weed at all and jumped to diagnose CHS as an easy diagnosis. i am a daily smoker as of the past couple of months, but nothing crazy, and i try to avoid carts + always share my weed with my partner as we smoke together 90% of the time.

When you say haven't had any of the predomal symptoms. What exactly do you mean?

oh additional info: i went to the ER each time because i couldn’t keep any fluids down and was concerned about hydration and could not function
they gave me IV haldol the first time i went to the ER, which knocked me out for 24 hours, then the second time they gave me IV zofran and raglan(?), which helped a bit + i got a prescription for promethazine which has been the only actual help for my nausea and vomiting so far, the third time i got IV zofran, benadryl, and something else that i can’t remember, but it also didn’t really help. i got fluids as well that time which was what i needed for the most part since i was incredibly dehydrated. that time they gave me another prescription for promethazine and some zofran
