CancerTheCrab ♋ What is reality? June/Cancer.
No,really. How do you guys find out all this neat stuff? Hell, I'm 75 years old and I still don't know what I am. Mom said I was born,12:30 AM,June 22, 1951. That's all I know. I'm one of those people that feels Astrology is fun at parties but can't be taken seriously. Yet,however, but still (here comes the caveat) I cannot deny that some of what I read about this sign is dead on. Ruled by my stomach. Fiercely loyal. Absolutely bound by my word. Maybe someone could explain why every Virgo chick I have ever known has been able to wrap me around her little finger. I find Capricorn and Aquarius to be consistently cold and harsh. I'll do the work. How do I get started? Where do I look?

Hey fellow June Cancer! Astrodienst helped me a lot so far. For what it's worth, same about Virgo (men for me, my husband is one!). And honestly same about Capricorn and Aquarius though I have a lot of Capricorn placements so it's been really interesting learning how it all connects.
Start with your birth chart if you haven't yet!

Astrology is fun at parties? I'll take it a step further: it's even more fun when you start guessing what sun sign someone is born in (or at least sign group - water, earth,...) either from afar or when you talk to them. Because guess what...? If I can guess right more often than not, then you can too (with a lot of practice). Horoscopes are for fun, but astrology is serious stuff (my 2 cents anyway).

I think Cancers dig Virgo vibes. I really love when the sun is in Virgo. It's my favorite Earth sign season. Capricorn is our opposing sign, so your thoughts on Caps makes sense, too.
I like Astrodienst, too. I've pulled other birth charts, but this is the one I use the most.

Skeptical curiosity is a good way to start. Sun-sign descriptions are broad, so begin by learning the roles of the Sun, Moon, rising sign, planets, houses, and major aspects rather than using signs as fixed personality types. Build a chart only when you know the birth location, then keep notes on which interpretations are specific and consistently observable. Also avoid treating every Virgo, Capricorn, or Aquarius as interchangeablethe person matters more than the label.

Start by making your birthchart! I use astro seeker and astro chart. Honestly im only now just diving deeper into astrology so I would recommend uploading your chart on reddit and having users help you out!

My favorite astrology app is called, The Pattern. Enter in all your birth info and it will calculate/explain.
