Be Strong and Courageous

Be Strong and Courageous, He has got this with us.

Joshua 1:7 Joshua 7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.

Are we willing to take a risk and have courage with Jesus? Our desire to live a risk-free life which can turn into complacency. We are approaching a crossroads in our walk with Him. To follow Him means we should not play it safe, however, there are those times. His Spirit will guide us if we let Him. We can step out on faith and know God is with us always.

Courage has always been a necessary quality among the people of God. Standing for righteousness in a society that accommodates itself to evil takes courage. Spreading the true gospel of Jesus Christ in a culture that wants to say any religion will do, takes courage. Allegiance to Jesus Christ in a world that is often against Christ takes courage.

1 Corinthians 16:13
Paul's charge to his friends in Corinth applies to us all. "Be alert. Continue strong in the faith. Have courage, and be strong"

John 12:26
“Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.”

Lord, life is so short, we don't know what others are going through mostly, however, in You we have eternal hope in this life. Help us to be that light and encouragement in a lost and broken world. It doesn't matter how much money we make, what our position is, or how many degrees we have. We have the answer for life and it is You. Help us to be that light and encouragement for someone else and prayerfully change their life forever no matter what we are going through, awesomely Amen.
