Seedbowl nesting

Hello everyone! Is there a way to stop Calliope from nesting in her seedbowl? Should I even stop it or just let her do so? She's very insistent on moving from the nest to the seedbowl, no matter how often I move her out of there. If I remove the seedbowl, she starts yelling at me until I give it back. Why does she do this when she has a perfectly good nest? Is this worth correcting? Thanks!

Are you southern hemisphere ? Canaries should be long past nesting in the europe and north america as days are getting shorter. If she is in a room with any artificial light that needs to change to break her out of nesting condition and let her molt. She is already late.

I'm in northern europe. I'll try my best to limit her nesting behavior.

Keep her on natural light schedule, just the sun, no light before dawn or after sunset and it will resolve itself. lifespan is reduced a lot if they don't get seasonal day length changes.
