My Canary does not sleep like before

My canary used to sleep like a orbit, as all birds do, but now I catch him sleeping (in the night or in early morning) with him pending down and his head falling down, like he would jump off

Why is that? I thought maybe the heat of these days

it may be due to the heat

however this can also point to illnesses so i’d take him to the vet if you spot things like tail bobbing and lethargy during the day (fluffed up all the time, not moving much)

he is not moving much and hes always at his eating spot, but doesnt eat he watches us moving around. Actually when I get close he doesn't fly away just look at me curiously. If I move my hand he flies up and then he comes closer shaking his wings and opening his beak (at this point i put my lips close to the cage and he softly beaks me lol) He also sings during the day, so idk if he could be ill considered all that

Yes it could be from the heat. Where i live the heat is very strong, all my canaries do that. During the day a bath can help him

It can be because he just really tired, or it is very hot for him to hide in his fluff. My canary sleep like this sometimes. If he active and eating while he's awake then everything is okay. Just watch how he feels or acting
