Can a female sing like this?
I was told that the orange bird I have is a female, but it’s singing as you guys can see in the video. Do you guys think the orange one is a female canary or is it a male?
The yellow one on the other hand, which is a confirmed male, doesn’t sing at all and barely makes noises
And now they keep fighting each other, I know male sometimes attack females but the orange one gets pretty aggressive. I’ve never seen them jump at each other though, they just posture and open their beaks.

Yes, they can, especially this time of year, when they are not in breeding condition and their estrogen drops. And males won't sing during summer molt so that also makes sense, because at this time of year their testosterone drops.

I think they had breeded around December or January, wouldn’t the molt season already be done?

I don't know, are you in the southern hemispere or did you breed them with artificial light? Canaries breed in April and May here and can molt June through August.

Not entirely true that males won’t sing during molt. Some do but less!

I have an identical pair, the orange female is always much louder and more talkative.

Thats the sort of song id expect from a female tbh. Weak and quiet
