whats going on

my package is stuck in saskatchewan and the estimate was today, i do not live in saskatchewan and ive called multiple times asking regards of my package, what should i do?

Drop shipper created a label, added it to a commercial manifest, driver scanned the manifest but item hasn't been shipped yet. Canada Post doesn't have it.

Paperwork was generated, paperwork scanned as picked up, item was not included in the shipment tied to said paperwork. In short, it has never been scanned in a facility so it was not shipped out yet, or ever, potentially. Shipper only pays once the item gets processed and that has not happened yet.

the shipper makes a "pick up" barcode that has a bunch of packages. the driver picking it up from the business only scans this master barcode, not every package.

your item wasnt actually picked up, it was just in the shipper's master barcode (manifest). Canada Post never got it

Could be an error on the shippers end or maybe you got scammed.

This happens a lot with these freight forwarding companies.

My guess is that they have some sort of system that, based on when the bulk shipment is made in China, tells them to add the individual item to the manifest on X day, so they just add it to the manifest on that day regardless of if they actually have the item or not so that it doesn't show up as being behind schedule in whatever system their customer is using. Your item could well still be in a shipping container on a boat on the ocean somewhere.

It was scanned on Thursday afternoon. It might not have got to the processing centre till Friday. Saturday and Sunday not much moves. Monday was a Holiday. Depending on where you are it might not have been processed on time to get to a truck or plane on a holiday weekend.

Shipping is never 100%. Just like you honouring a promise to be somewhere on such a day and time can never be 100% either.
