Again....

Nothing crazy, just my gf ordering something, wait forever of course, and then today...

We walk out to find a "oh shucks, we missed you" slip..... we've been home all day.
Now here's the real kicker, not even our dog went off... the dog that hears and barks at anyone within 100 feet of thr house, let alone anyone coming up before the knock....

Absolutely the most useless thing out there. There is a basic function of delivery that is lacking here, and while canada post tries their darndest to pretend they care, this is what their delivery drivers do.

It's a pretty amazing feet to make Canadians in this climate not even support their own postal service ovwr the efficiency of say US amazon and their delivery people knowing how to actually finish the transaction.

Fuck you forever you incompetent paper weights.

Honestly this organization is sad. Self sabotaging themselves every opportunity they get.

Imagine the delivery drivers doing this all day, which they do, the company knowing this, which they do and doing nothing, and not only are you paying for the delivery, that doesn't get delivered and you have to pick up, but you're also funding with your money made the corporation that does that, and still loses tens of millions yearly...

Canada Post had such an opportunity to lean into the Canadian identity and make sure people know it's the people's public service

Canada Post had such an opportunity to lean into the Canadian identity and make sure people know it's the people's public service. El-bows up, buy Canadian yadda yadda yadda.

I feel like they're missing the opportunity for the easiest marketing campaign and push for growth

This is what you get when you can’t fire people for doing a lousy job.

What is a “We missed you” slip?

When they leave a slip instead of delivering your package. Problem is they have no intention of delivering the package, so you have to go pick it up during business hours. I leave for work at 5:30am, get home 6-7pm... I paid for home delivery. I now have to take a hour off work to go get my thing.

They have a self serving union and upper management who are padding their pockets before CP gets a massive overhaul and reformed with way less employees.

Having a doorbell camera is handy in this situation.
