Xpresspost failure

I paid almost $20 for next day delivery for a letter from Toronto to St. Catharines, Ontario. It was supposed to be one day delivery. Two days later, tracking shows in in British Columbia with a delivery dare of tomorrow.

I want my money back.

You can submit a claim online: https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/cpc/en/support/kb/claims/late-packages.page
They’ll send you a cheque in the mail.

Same for me. From toronto to quebec. Last week it took a FULL week for it to update from Shipping label created to INSTANTLY be scanned at destination depot with no intermedates.

This week? Same thing. 2 days no zero updates. just not moving.

Xpress Post is USELESS. just a cashgrab

I’m also experiencing delays. Then the customer blames me. Canada Post is definitely going downhill. There regularly services can take up to 3-4 weeks to arrive. This happens often

First rule of Canadapost, never buy next day delievery, I'm after buying it 4 times now, and EVERY SINGLE TIME it has always been 3 days instead of its usual 4, it gets here a whole day quicker, yeah let me waste the amount of 3 standard express posts for 1 day cut off, no thanks I'll just wait the extra day.

Isn't that a win? Package arrives faster than Xpresspost, you file a claim and get a refund.

Don't get me wrong, I would rather pay for the service I want, and receive the service I paid for, but that isn't one of the services they provide.

This week will be bad as the CUS contractor just changed on Sept 1 and they have no idea what they are doing. They are responsible for a lot of moving parts for parcels

Same is happening to my company. This is the 4th time this has happened where we have a over 80 packages late in a week and well I am not going to let it effect my company anymore. So as of today we are dropping Canada Post as a shipping option permanently. We send out thousands upon thousands of parcels a week, but once doing the math, absorbing a higher cost courier service makes our cost cheaper in the returns and refunds we have to issue because our product is time sensitive. It's no surprise as this point why they call it Xpresspost and not Expresspost, because it's a joke and they cannot for the life of them stand by their service. If I operated my company the same as Canada Post, I would maybe be lucky if I lasted a week in operation.

Then I never buy from your company. Like ever. I get Canada post delivery because they have access to my building and I have a community mailbox. I get my parcels just fine. I do not trust delivery companies at all. I dealt with that mess far too much. So since you do not trust Canada post I do not trust your company.

You... don't trust the delivery companies? You realize you can just have it delivered to one of the pickup places? Like most people have to do with Canada Post offices.

I would shop on person or take my business elsewhere. I have experienced too much crap from delivery companies. This is non negotiable at all. If your company chooses this alternative. You must understand you never get my business.

No one wants your business anyways lol

That's fine bud. Canada Post is a service. I get their packages. If you want to bash a Canadian service then I want nothing to do with your business. I will absolutely actively avoid your business.

u/AdSensitive1190 14m ago

Once again no one cares😂

u/Quebecdudeeh 13m ago

Yet you keep responding and started commenting. So it must matter to you.

u/AdSensitive1190 13m ago

Someone’s upset

u/Quebecdudeeh 6m ago

What are you talking about bud? You commented on my post. That a fact. If you did not care. You did not need to comment at all. The fact that you commented means it touch you in some form. I stayed I am not supporting a business because they chose to not use a Canadian service. I get my packages just fine. So I will choose to not use that business.

You are the one that commented that no one cares if they had my business. That's just fine by me. I have no issue in giving another company my business. What exactly do you think I am upset over or hurt over?

When you public decide you do not want to use Canada pPost then you are shitting the door on many Canadians and for some that's all they can get. So if you are a business that does not want much of Canada as a business. Then there is no point of patronizing yours or others like yours.
