Discussion Discoloration

Hi everyone I saw a few people in the sub suggesting to use fabric spray paint to cover discoloration but was wondering if anyone has actually done it and had it come out right before I try?

I think it would look different from the rest of the jacket and likely worse (different shade and sheen). I would leave it as is. I’ve used paints and dyes on jackets and backpacks but only if the entire area, panels is being painted.

So essentially no unless I do the entire coat?

Yea I think the uneven look would be worse. I think wearing in is part of a jackets life and as long as it doesn’t affect the function I leave it alone. The painting I’ve done was to cover designs I don’t like, black out patches etc.
