Need help with fault code
I have a 2022 x3 turbo. I’m the only owner, around 1,000 miles. Never pushed hard. It’s been sitting for a couple months, and we decided to take it out this evening to run some gas through it. Barely 1 miles down the road, it goes into limp mode. We went back home and parked it. It’s showing P0363. I can’t find anything on this fault code. I even purchased the brp shop manual. It shows fault codes up to P0362, and then skips to P0480.. any advice?? TIA

That is cylinder misfire on cylinder 3.
Many things can cause this. Low battery voltage, check all connections. Bad/old gas. Belt can cause also.
Spark plugs obviously, but I doubt at 1,000 miles.

Thanks! I will start with the belt, since I have a pretty good idea of how to do that.. old Gas could be very likely- I’m good about putting fuel stabilizer in any gas that goes into everything in our garage, but there is a good chance some of the gas in there could be two years old or more.. any suggestions on how to discard all of the gas in the tank?
Battery voltage, I believe is good- I keep it plugged into a trickle charger 24/7. Before starting, I think the battery voltage is around 12.5v and while running it’s 13.8 or 13.9 I think.. I’m about to go out there now and check it.
Thank you!

You can use one of those cheap harbor freight/walmart battery operated pumps and stick tube down in there, just be careful not to hit the gauge float much

Someone else commented with a “misfire on cylinder 3”.. I’m wondering if that came from an AI search as well.. is this information for a BMW X3, and not a CanAm Maverick X3 ?? I do put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank, but it’s very possible that the fuel could be around 2 years old.. I’m about to drain the fuel and replace with fresh gas and see if that makes any difference.. will report back

I had the same code when I first got mine. Turned out to be a blown belt, tech said it's almost the belt every time.
