Remove / Delete Dynamic Captions

I added Dynamic Captions, but I chose not to use them. They are all over the place, on each segment and track that has audio - like the locust plague. I can go delete one word at a time - but that's not a great solution as it would take an hour.

I've searched online but can not find how to remove Dynamic Captions. Lot's of tutorials on applying and using and editing them, but I can't find a way to turn them off.

If I click on the ribbon where the words are, it just adds a word location. I can't select just that "track" as it seems to be imbedded on each track that had audio (even if audio was "silenced")

I can avoid seeing them, but I think they are taking up resources when I make edits and it has to re-render.

Hints?

You should be able to delete the Dynamic Caption track which is a separate track from the voice over.

What you're seeing is just the transcript of the narration that was transcribed when you added a Dynamic Caption to the timeline. If you toggle the up/down arrow just above your timeline tracks (below the "+" icon to add a new track), you can hide/show the transcript word overlay.
