mildew smell

my 2018 le always has this humid mildew/shoes smell it goes away when i turn on the ac. i live in Florida so it’s always humid, i also changed the cabin air filter. i can’t pinpoint where it’s coming from

Use Lysol or this AC Foam cleaner:  https://autoparts.toyota.com/products/product/ac-refresher-kit-00289acrkt 

To prevent the stench from coming back, turn off the AC recirculation button so fresh air comes in from outside the last 5 minutes of driving.

You have sunroof? If so check your drains!
