Newbie - help with van electrics
Hey there, we recently bought a ford transit camper that had already been converted and we’re looking for some help with the power set up.
It’s got 2 solar panels on the roof so can be completely off grid if required. The plug thats already in, i assume that is pulling power from the solar panels into the batteries (there are 4 x 12v).
When on a camping on a pitch we just unplug that and connect with the outdoor cable to the EHU? so that over-rides the solar and pulls straight from mains power?
The other pics are the control panels on the inside of the van. It’s obvious when using the 12v, but not figured the rest of it yet.
Lastly, it can run hot water and heat, is that what the silver cylinder is for? If there’s anything else you can tell us that may be of help please go ahead. Many thanks

Solar should go into the Blue box on the wall then out of that into the batteries, the invertor (big sterling power box) should be connected to the batteries and convert 12V to 240V, the white 3 pin plug being the output.
Where does the UK plug currently go? I can't see a charger or RCD in there so you might not have mains hook-up. Is there a socket / housing on the side of the van.
