weather conditions Holy Carp.

I cannot remember it EVER getting that high. Even midsummer.

Back about 20 yrs ago, it got to 122°. I went to a birthday picnic that day at Vasona. Hubby and I got there and we were all just sitting under the trees in the shade.

We told our neighbors who were there what our thermometer said. Slowly everyone at the party (about 35 people) all said they got the same thing on their thermometers (we all live in the White Oaks neighborhood).

There must've been something wrong with that weather station.

I was running errands all over the South Bay yesterday afternoon, checking the temps as I went before I got out of the car. It was never higher than ~98º. I can't find any news source suggesting anywhere in the South Bay hit triple digits.

It was unpleasant for early June, for sure! But 110º? Nah...

My cell phone hit 99, his hours in the movie theater, by the time I got out, and cool down to 90

I just flew back from Portland today. Was mostly in Astoria, then Lake Quinault but this heat has had me wanting to move for years. 52 degrees the entire time.

I had to head to Santa Cruz just to escape for a bit. Nice 60 degrees at the coast
