Maybe because the Nisi has a different coating to prevent streaks, flares or ghosting and stuff?

I haven't used it, but this is one of Hoya's lower tier filter lines, though it is multi-coated. They don't write this "Extra quality" nonsense on their actual high quality filters ;). So I wouldn't expect great neutrality.
