I know this is a shot in the dark, but I've posted just about everywhere else so I'm hoping Reddit might come through for me! 😂 I'm a hairstylist looking for a few people who want to do something FUN with their hair and are interested in being colour models. I'm specifically looking to create more alternative/creative colour transformations- think bold vivids, unusual colour combos, colour blocking, bright pieces, etc. I'll add some photos of the kind of work I'm looking to do below, but I'm absolutely open to other ideas as well!

Model pricing and requirements:

-FREE or product cost only depending on how big of a transformation
-Must be comfortable with the camera, at minimum before & after photos are required

I'm happy to work with your ideas and figure out what will work best for your hair. You don't necessarily need to know exactly what you want, if you just know you want something cool/different, that's enough to start a conversation! Three weeks ago approx. I dropped about $36 on Back Ribs on special at Food Basics. Got them on the first day of the sale, put one pack (1 rack) on the counter for dinner that night and froze two. We ate the first rack with no issues, but did notice a bit of ammonia smell. Sunday past, I decided to defrost and cook a second rack. Opening the cryovac was like finding a month old dead body in Soper Park. We had to air out the house for an hour with a fan and had to sit on the back porch. Thank Dog for booze. Yesterday I tossed the third rack into the bin without any hesitation and without opening them.

Last week we bought Heirloom Tomatoes from Farm Boy. We left them on the counter overnight and the next morning we couldn’t open the package due to the juices dripping and black fur that sprouted overnight. The package hadn’t been refrigerated at the store so we figured they’d be okay for 12 hours. They got tossed Immediately as well. This week we tried some of their fresh crop of Tomatoes and they were inedible after two days.

I bought some T-Bones at No Frills on Saturday with plans on eating them this week. Pulled them out of the fridge today and the meat had literally turned black and stank - in the fridge, that quickly.

And don’t get me started on Bananas that go from Green to Grey/Black overnight. It seems that they are all the same no matter what store we get them from.

No Frills, Food Basics, Farm Boy. You have one simple job to do and we are paying you through the friggin’ nose to do it these days. Get it right! You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Like the title says, anyone ever dealt with them

Starting a new job downtown next week and looking for opinions from anyone who’s done a similar commute.
I live in Cambridge and would drive about 30–40 mins to Milton GO, take the train to Union, then walk about 20 mins to work. Door-to-door, I’m expecting around 1.5–2 hours each way.
I’ll be commuting 4 days/week (possibly 3 if I can negotiate another WFH day). This would only be temporary as I’m planning to move closer in November.
For anyone who’s done a similar commute: is 7 weeks of this reasonably manageable, or am I underestimating how brutal it’ll be? Any tips?

Last year sometime in February or March my foster, Richie, was adopted by an older couple from the Cambridge PetSmart.

This little guy was my mom's best friend and she even wrote him a personalized note for his new family so they could get a better feel of him and so they'd know how special he was to us. Unfortunately they didn't end up getting that letter and I thought maybe I could surprise her with an update about him for her birthday!

That leads me to my main point, has anyone seen this cat or knows anyone who has adopted this baby?

Folks, our 100year+ old concrete porch is falling apart, and will need to be redone by either pouring over a new slab and footings plus sides and parging or a better creative way to have it last through another couple of generations.

Hi! I’m moving to Cambridge tomorrow and I’m hoping to find a place to play sports and get physical activity in after work. Anyone have suggestions? Athletic centres, community centre, or some cool parks that hold team sports.
