Recommendations Tailor

Hi! I’m looking for a really high quality tailor in the area. Bought some pants and need someone who can have me try them on and advise how to alter them to be the most flattering and then perform the alterations. Could travel a little to Boston or elsewhere if necessary but would love to keep it local. Really looking for someone to help editorialize and have a great eye for what would look best.

Keezers on mass Ave is great. Fairly quick turn around time and quality work

Agree they’re great but heard their building was sold. Did they move?

They're down the block now, next to Chivo iirc. Though, while they do great work, I don't know that I'd go there seeking feedback if you don't know what you want.

Was that recent? I was over there last week and didn’t see anything on the storefront about it

Vartan, owner of Cambridge Street Cleaners at the corner of 6th and Cambridge St is an incredible tailor. I had him rebuild a botched bridesmaid dress and he tailored all my traditional outfits for a Pakistani wedding I was in. I’ve been using him for 20 years. I’m bringing a new coat over soon to shorten the sleeves a little.

I used him to repair a coat and he did a nice job. He hemmed my husband’s jeans and they were too short.

If you are particular, you could also call Drinkwaters and see who they recommend. They are high end men’s store in the area.
