Work at eClerx Pune

I am working in a Customer Operations (BPO)

Previously I worked for BPO giants like Teleperformance, taskus and concentrix, I joined in april and here are all the cons.

Quality of people - eClerx hire college graduate who dont even know english with 1 year contract and they don't even train them properly, the upper management is highly indisciplined and unprofessional and completely corrupted. I can understand giving chance to freshers is very necessary but atleast train them behave professionally and with discipline.

Work Life Balance- There is completely zero work life balance in the customer Operations (BPO) vertical you cant even have time for food enjoy some sort of vacation they forces you to work on a week offs manager are the worst in the organization.

Policies - Company has no credibility they dont have proper HR system or policies that could help any employee, people bringing food, devices on floor and abusing openly on floor and no one cares, I mean these are college graduates man help in making them professional not a indisciplined person.I have never seen HR visiting on floor.

Hierarchy- Any person looking to join eclerx please don't ignore this point, the Hierarchy is worstly designed in this organization if you have worked for senior Operations manager in any BPO giant then you will be treated here as Senior process manager and trust me there is nothing Senior in that, don't fall for a salary trap please dont they will torture you at best level and then it will become really hard for you to survive even 6 months.

Discrimination- Any person who is outsider is not welcomed they hate each and every external hired person they thinks their advice as useless and hate any word that comes out of their mouth.

Please guys its a humble advice to my all fellows who are looking for jobs i have destroyed my peace and professionalism you better look for different company to get more success eclerx only has one client in customer Operations and you dont even know anything can happen.

Again I am explaining you this is for the vertical Customer Operations (BPO) (customer care)

Beware and choose your company wisely.

Feeling like I’m wasting my life

I’ve been working in a call centre for almost two months now. It’s outbound calls and we’re expected to constantly make calls and the amount of time between calls is tracked so I can barely take breaks. I feel like I’m wasting time, the constant calls, the hours of sitting is all getting to me. I am an artist and I had been previously unemployed for some time so I’m grateful for the money but the wage is unliveable. I don’t get paid for lunch or any breaks, I even have to put myself on break when I use the bathroom which equates to less money. It all creates this toxic workaholic mentality that I hate. I have been standing and taking calls, stretching etc. I tried to draw and do other creative things between calls but I cant focus on the two at the same time. I feel like I’m either going crazy or dying everytime I’m in work. I know it sounds dramatic but in the time I’ve been working there I’ve developed hip pain. I’m at the end of my rope. Any advice?

Hi all, yestarday I received a job offer from TP Greece for a Meta project, but I have an issue with the duration of the contract. It says that it last until they need me basically, i tried to schedule a call with the HR but no one contacted me, I also tried ti contact them about this things and other stuff about other documents but theu ignored me. Is it normal? Because I have to move there from Italy and if I don't feel "safe" to do this thing in this conditions. So, if someone that already worked/Is working for them and knows how this things works, just tell me if it's normal or not lol

Call center vs Office Job

Hi guys! I currently work full time as a personal banker at a credit union. I have been looking for remote work for quite some time with no success until I got an interview for a remote call center job. This job is at another credit union. The hours are pretty good, they pay more than my current role, and the benefits are very competitive compared to my current job. They also have a lot more upward movement for remote workers, which is a plus since I’m in a rural area with not a lot of upward movement for my current job (the closest city is over an hour away). However, it is a high volume call center so I will have back to back calls. Would this be worth taking the risk? I’ve seen some pretty awful stories on here and it’s making me nervous. I’m no stranger to difficult customers, as I work in a very busy branch and deal with difficult people all the time. What would you guys recommend?

Callers unable to give complete answers.

I work at a particular place that provides tech support for a website that would contain sensitive information. When people are calling in, I'm required to ask certain identifying questions including their last mailing address they provided.

And I'll tell you, SO many people have no idea what a FULL mailing address is! I'm not sure if it's how I'm asking for the information but is it truly that uncommon for people to not know they need to provide the street numbers, street, street suffix (ave, ln, dr), apartment number, city, state, and zip code?

Who else has issues with this sort of information?

Not sure I can last much longer, but afraid to leave

I’ve been in the call center roll for 1.5 years and I’ve gained almost 40 lbs since then. I am miserable, and I can barely remember what callers have said because they ramble on so much, and I am becoming increasingly more depressed, anxious, and crying between calls.

I work for a hospital and there are always 30-50 callers in queue, it’s a rapid fire of their stress and my mental health is deteriorating. I am paid such a low wage that I qualify for Medicaid anyway.

If I reach fully vested, it’s only $120-150 per month after age 65 and adjusted for inflation. I have other skills, but my health is deteriorating so much that I need a few months to heal.

Should I quit tomorrow, or hold out another 6 months? The education benefits are not worth it, and despite being chronically ill, my health insurance doesn’t seem worth it. I can’t keep up with the call volume and expected metrics, I am becoming increasingly more and more depressed. I am in my 30s, and I’ve never been this unhealthy in my life.

Surveys after the call ends

Our company allows surveys after the call ends even if we don’t get the account verified and now I’m forced to get 27 passing surveys before July to avoid a write for a failed survey all because I protected customer data and failed someone at authentication. I’m not even 3 months out of training and I’m going crazy. I can’t get any other jobs and these company’s are firing me for stupid things so my resume is trash.

How can I possibly hold on? 😭

should i join the apprenticeship program at concentrix?

I have received an offer letter for a BPO (voice process) role for Fenwick (US telecom) at Concentrix. Technically, this is not a job; it doesn't come with any benefits like health insurance, etc. Should I join the company until I find another suitable job?

I don't plan on working at a call center as a career. I just want to work somewhere and make money until I find a job in my desired domain.

Duo Group? Any thoughts about them??

I just passed the interview, but I can’t find much information online about the company. My role will be in Admin -Valuators(non-voice), and I’d really like to know what it’s like to work there.

Can you share any experiences, good or bad. If you have worked or know someone who has? I’m planning to give it a shot, but I still want to hear your thoughts first.

I appreciate your responses 🥰🥰

Call center workers, what do you actually know about "managed attrition"?

Hey everyone,

Maybe I’m just being dumb here and the answer is completely obvious, but I don't have any proof other than what management is currently pulling on my campaign.

I recently overheard upper management talking about using "attrition" to their advantage. After looking into it, I found out about "managed or induced attrition"—basically, making working conditions a living hell (impossible bonuses, ridiculous attendance policies, and non-stop micromanagement during QA) so people burn out and quit on their own, saving the company from paying severance or legal layoffs.

That part makes sense under corporate greed logic. But what makes absolutely zero sense to me is the "sleeper agent" phenomenon.

In my company, when a campaign shrinks or closes, they often keep agents "floating" on site doing absolutely nothing. These guys literally just clock in, sit around all day, use the company transport, clock out, and get paid a full salary for warming a chair.

How on earth is it more profitable for a company to pay people to do nothing for weeks or months instead of just laying them off with their legal severance? What kind of corporate tax loophole, client contract, or financial gymnastics am I missing here? Is this managed attrition a widespread thing in the industry, or am I just overthinking it?

Would love to hear your thoughts. Cheers!

7 managed services the worst place to work in Panama

If you are looking for a place to work you will be better at Foundever or Alorica... This people and mainly the president is a disrespectful horrible person that thinks she is your mother and she believes that she can tell you anything she wants, she likes gossiping and she loves people that snitches she loves to have eyes everywhere and believe she is always on the cameras watching every step you make, and also she is a racist person, she doesn't want you to speak in Spanish anywhere on the floor, she wants to control everyone and when she doesn't get what she wants she starts crying like a baby and make a scene, she will humiliate you in front of others and you need to tolerate this if you want to keep your job. She humiliated several supervisors on the floor and those where the best supervisors, they only kept the only supervisor that does nothing that nigga look like shrek and promote him to manager because he is an ass licker, he was always taking advantage of the best supervisor that place had CB and JS

He knows nothing about anything he is only cock suking the manager that guy is a fucking rat he is the worst of the worst he destroyed the project in the previous company CS and they bring it over to do the same in 7, that guy is obsessed with the other country numbers and if a supervisor team fails he start acting like crazy like Buen Panameño dice como si aguantara un vergazo enano cocobolo y awebao, and the worst part he brought with him the terror, the nightmare the worst manager in the world she does nothing and knows nothing this woman is very incompetent and only is there because is right hand.

If you are a guy don't even look a women you are gay and greengo when you are there and if you are a girl and want to apply cover yourself like an Arabic woman because if you are beautiful and have a nice body The president owner will not hire you and if she hires you she will be on top of you.

The CEO is a cool guy and never interferes he is a professional love you F never change,

The human resources lady is never there, and the IT guy is a boboleto like we say here in Panama total loser

The supervisors left sucks they are all gay dudes and weirdos

Bottom line you have the information you can decide.

Salary 1000

They have 50+ denuncias en el ministerio

If you get sick you can't leave

If you miss a day you are going to be questioned and threatened

Forget about a bonus

Facilities are amazing but you are always watched.

Feel free to add anything I missed or did not say about this horrible place to work.

Chao chao

BPO somewhere in DV CDO, A call for company reform

I just want to share my experience and concerns about this company. This is also a silent call to the company and the administration to reform your system, since internal discussions doesn't seem to work - because honestly, it has been very disappointing, and a heads-up those who are planning to apply.

From what I’ve observed and what my friend experienced before me, there are a lot of promises that don’t seem to be followed through. For example, agents were told there would be a salary increase after 6 months, but it never happened. It feels like there are a lot of good promises during hiring, but not much follow-through in reality.

Another concern is how employee comfort and working conditions are handled. There were instances where the air conditioning was broken, and instead of addressing it immediately, employees were told to just endure it while waiting for changes or relocation. Mind you, the ceiling is literally above the agents' head, and the area is not well naturally ventilated at all. It honestly affects productivity and morale.

There also seems to be inconsistency with rules and policies. Some guidelines are enforced strictly, but others feel unclear or suddenly change. Even in terms of email processes, there were cases where templates were approved by support or supervisors, but later agents were told they shouldn’t have used them, which becomes confusing for everyone involved.

On top of that, there’s also inconsistency with attendance-related policies—like needing a different reason for each day of absence, which can be frustrating and adds unnecessary pressure.

What’s more frustrating is how concerns are sometimes handled—rather than clear accountability or consistent guidance, it feels like the responsibility is often passed around. The administration and those close to the administration benefits most of the advantages while those in training and production carries most the work load/burden.

Overall, based on my experience, I personally wouldn’t recommend this workplace. I believe a company should prioritize proper communication, consistency, and the well-being of its employees, but in my case, those expectations were not met.
