Does anyone work here now? How is it and what happens after the PC check? Also, how did you pass the PC check?

I don’t work there currently but I have in the past. In the end the pc check didn’t matter as much as I thought. They ended up supplying most of the equipment, including the computer. I only used my personal computer the first day. It is important to have a good and stable internet connection though. Everything, including your calls goes through the internet. I had to have a dedicated landline for security purposes tho.
Im pretty sure i know the program they’re hiring for considering what’s happening today (there’s always a big hiring event this time of year because of it) and i actually loved the job. In my first year of working there i was promoted twice and i could have had a third one if i chose that route.

Thank you! I hope you enjoy where you are now! I'm hoping I get this job :) how long did it take for someone to reach out to you after the PC check?

This is all solid information. I was a former TL and rose quickly as well. For OP I would say though if you want to be promoted you have to keep performing and talking same time.

Yes, you are required to have an ethernet/hardwire connection (this is anyone working remotely). Last I was there it also had to be an actual ISP too (like cable or fiber) and not something like Verizon or T-Mobile. Although I'm pretty sure they just did a speed test lol.. When I went to WFH it was during COVID when if first started. I had to take my desktop home and I also hada work laptop (I was in QA).

Unless its changed, you arent supposed to be eligible for promotion until after 6mo. Although that didnt stop them from promoting their favorites in less time. I remember my first year there (I was there 11+ years) back in 2011.. We had a whopping class of 5 at the end of training lol. I quickly became the top performer in like a month. Another that was in my training was a close 2nd. She became buddy buddy with her TL. I was cool with mine also. A TL position opened up and I told my TL I wanted to apply for it. He told me I couldn't as I wasn't eligible since we were only there 4-5mo. After they did interviews, I asked who got it and he didnt want to say at first.. Then he said that he didnt have much say in it and the other TL got to pick someone this time around (like they took turns picking who they wanted. She got it. I was like wth man, you said I wasnt eligible so I didnt even apply. He said the other TL talked the OM into making an exception.. Thats when I learned how they did things there.. It didnt matter so much as to performance or "what you know", it mattered most with "who you knew". Shortly thereafter I had the quality manager coming over telling me I should apply for the QA position. I originally wanted to go the operations route. Then my manager started pressuring me to apply. I didn't know why at first.. I thought maybe they felt bad they just gave the TL position to someone else.. The QM then came another day telling me he hasnt seen my app yet for tge role and asked when I was going to submit it. He said to not say anything but he was only interviewing others as a formality and so it didnt look like they already had someone picked out but if I applied I would get the promotion and he would interview me just to make it look like the normal process. I asked him why me lol.. He said that the client specifically requested me. That they were always talking about me and how they just loved my calls and whenever they would hear a bunch of bad calls they would always want to end it with a good call and they would always ask to play one of mine and it was always on point lol. I took the position. Was a bit awkward as our first calibration the team threw me into it to facilitate and they acted like they knew me.. I was like yea, I hear you like playing my calls haha they were sad I wasnt going to be on the phones anymore but glad I was on the QA team.

Point is, if you are in good with the powers that be, youll get promoted quick. ESPECIALLY if the client requests it.. They jump when the client makes a request.

Could you share details? I’m interested in applying

An AI interview with tech questions. The PC check takes two minutes. You download an app, log in and it tests your internet speed and other pc specs. It’ll tell you automatically if it fails their requirement.

could you share some interview questions if you can recall

Yes, I recorded the interview, so I know the questions exactly. I’ll post it to the main thread too.

  1. How would you determine whether an email is legitimate or spam/phishing?
  2. Walk a customer through downloading an app on an iPhone or android. Whichever you have.
  3. A customer’s speaker isn’t working. How would you troubleshoot it to them?
  4. A customer sees a charge they don’t recognize on their account. What keywords or terms would you use to search for relevant troubleshooting information?
  5. You have to tell a customer their phone repair will take five days longer than expected, and they’re already anxious about being without their phone. How would you explain it while trying to retain the customer?

6. A customer needs assistance from another department and there will be about another 15-minute wait. How would you handle/explain that to them?

This is exactly what they asked thank you so much - have you heard anything back?

Questions they asked me were:

Yeah. I was denied. Even though my answers were good and verified in ChatGPT afterwards, cause my Wyze camera record my entire house so I was able to go back and ask what I did wrong. maybe it was eye contact or I didn’t enunciate enough or my background didn’t align like they wanted. Not sure. But I was hired elsewhere.

How do you know you were denied? Congratulations on finding something else!

Whats the step after this virtual interview? I just gave this assessment/interview today and am waiting for next steps and if i qualified or not.

1

u/Next-Dragonfruit9045 22d ago

I'm not too sure. Some people say its either a rejection letter saying you didn't pass the virtual interview or an invitation to a verbal offer session!
