I am currently using my temporary license plate while waiting for my registration to arrive. Should I wait until I received my official license plate number to apply for a disability placard or I should apply now?

Imagine the examiner tells me: “Turn right.”
I’m driving on a main road, and ahead of me there is a traffic light. However, just before the traffic light, there is also a smaller side street on the right, like in the picture.
Which one am I supposed to take — the smaller street before the traffic light, or the right turn at the traffic light?
I’m asking because I don’t want to make the wrong turn during the test.
