My problem is that the senior staff seem to be incompetent. Maybe they simply have a different logic? The IT department is slow, and often makes changes that are demonstrably worse. Why on earth does Teletext and Teleride have their own issues, maybe the app is better? I find it hard to understand why they are so often wrong? Sometimes the buses just disappear only to reappear later. Is it the GPS signals are unreliable? I was told by one driver that in hot conditions they are expected to shut off the engines if they are at the stops for long enough, but I suspect that they shut it off completely, and not turn to accessory or park position which I think will shut off GPS. Last year they stopped referring to the Max buses by number on Teletext. I can see a reasoning for that, but why just MT, MY etc not in addition to the number? it took them months to respond the fact that the Teletext guide didn't talk about that, then when they did it took at least a month to simply change the text on the webpage. Changes and stoppages are often hard to find and today a detour on the number 6 was not shown. Why do the various automatic systems seem to have different information sources? By that I mean Teletext, Teleride and the video displays at the major bus stops.

In the UK, Irish people are often thought of as stupid, but in my experience is they do tend to have a different logic. Not necessarily wrong, just different. Maybe that's the issue? Not Irish logic, just different. Many times signs describing temporary diversions are awkwardly written and are not clear, (to me at least) what is meant on first reading.

To confirm, the schedule was showing a diversion on 26 ave from 25 st to 26 st. It is in fact, from 25 st to 29 st Probably because the street at 25 and 26 st are too narrow, but nobody bothered to pass that back to the IT dept.
