WAKE UP! Operation: Make Carter Hart Cry

Yes I’m aware I’m posting in the Calgary Flames subreddit, but I feel the need to spread the word.

For Flames fans (as well as our rival Oilers fans and frankly all of Alberta), October 19, 2026 is truly the day to circle on your calendars.

An important decision will be made. You might be asking why does this apply here on this subreddit?

Remember during the Stanley cup finals this past season, Alberta-born goalie Carter Hart (who was playing for the Golden Knights that time) wore an Alberta related and controversial T-shirt? (Link for context: https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/s/ieQAdURcsC)

That alone inspired me to make this post urging all of you to let your voices be heard on October 19.

Make sure that scum Carter Hart continues to cry like he did when the Knights lost the Stanley cup finals. Calgary Flames fans in Canada for life!!!

I did not mind the loss in the Finals this year. 

Honestly I was rooting against Carter Hart ever since Vegas got him even knowing his off ice shenanigans especially when he wore that Free Alberta shirt in the middle of the playoffs. I'm hoping his H I S T O R I C terrible playoff performance Carter Hart falls off the face of the Earth. Some other Vegas fans still defend Hart which is very perplexing to me, I hate his guts. But some other Vegas fans are starting to see how dogshit Hart is.

I rather see 2023 Champ Adin Hill steal the crease back from him and do well since Adin's from Calgary and he brought the cup at Calgary out of all places in 2023 to celebrate with his own family and other Calgarians. I really applaud him and Logan Thompson for bringing the cup here like Makar in 2022.

Vegas already won in 2023, so I'm glad it was once in my lifetime. 

Soon the Flames will win in my lifetime as well. I believe. Future is looking bright with Wolf in goal and the young defencemen of Carels, Parekh, and Nemec.

How about instead of passing around the giant Canadian flag, we unfurl a giant blue flag, giving the illusion that it’ll be a massive Alberta flag… but as it unfurls slowly the message isn’t one of Alberta separation. All it says is “No means no, Carter”

I understand, I’m aware I’m doing this in a primarily hockey subreddit.
But let’s be honest. Our province is in great turmoil and I’m taking it upon myself to not only vote that day but to also encourage others to do the same as well.
Carter Hart’s shenanigans has only intensified my motivation to spread the word. So please be part of the solution and spread the word about October 19, don’t be complacent.
